myrollingstar:

Some people have been asking about what pencil/eraser/inking pen/sketchbook/etc I use, so I thought I’d take a few pictures of my drawing tools to answer those questions!
I’ll list the brand and name of everything, and you should be able to find all of these materials online if not in art supply stores.
✽
The first picture up there is the stuff I use to sketch with. From bottom to top:
1. Pilot 0.3mm S3 Series mechanical pencil - This is the pencil I use to draw everything. It’s a pretty basic 0.3mm pencil, and it never broke on me so I just keep using it. I use HB lead.
2. Eraser - One of those generic clicky erasers that you can find at almost all little Asian shops. No idea what brand it is ;;;
3. Mono Knock 3.8 eraser - Another clicking eraser, but this is good for precise erasing because the eraser radius is much smaller than the one above.
4. Staedtler Mars plastic eraser - For erasing large areas -3-
✽

This is the sketchbook I use! It’s a Moleskine sketchbook in large, which has 104 pages and is about 5x8 inches. The Moleskine I’m holding is a new one that I haven’t started yet, and the one behind is my current sketchbook. All of the art I post on this blog is sketched in my Moleskine- I just scan it in and use the pencil lines as lineart.
✽

These are my inking pens. They are all Copic multiliners, mostly in sizes 0.03 and two in 0.05.  They’re all color coded or marked in some way so that I know which pen makes what kind of lines.
✽

And my Copics! Everything to the right of that separation are Copic Sketch, and to the left are some random Neopiko, Triart, and Prismacolor markers.
✽
Other than these, I have my Bamboo tablet, Canon LiDE 100 scanner, and Photoshop CS5.
These are pretty much everything I use to draw! Everything can be bought online or in office/art supply stores. I hope this post answered some of questions you may have had about my tools!
